
Miami is proving to be the test bed in courting the American fan base. Yet, their strategy may be backfiring with the insane cost to those who want to stand near this GP and the focus on the non-core fans. Miami is turning out to be a shallow veil of a GP covered with off-track spectacles and celebrities. I am sure Vegas is watching and taking notes ‘cause there are no bigger spectacles than Vegas for everything!
But what about the racing this weekend? The brewing spat between Russell and Max must be music to Perez’s ears as he builds on his confidence as a true competitor to his champion teammate. His driver score trend is steadily upward, and I am hoping for an epic battle post-summer break.
As for this GP, and since there has only been one, the trend[x] favours past successful drivers. For drivers like LeClerc, the question is, will his past positive experience carry over to this year, knowing the luck he’s had?
