We are in the heart of Ferrari land, and yet, all colours points to the Dutch. Charles and Carlos new outfits are a great tributes to Ferrari’s Le Man achievements, but I can’t help but see orange this weekend. The question is, how bad will Ferrari make themselves look. While we all know last week’s race was Max’s, Ferrari didn’t get any sympathies with their poor pitstop; it just seems to keep happening to them (And the camera is always there at the right time!).
While the spotlight and poster child for Ferrari has been LeClerc, the honest truth is, his performance has been on a bit of a decline. We know it is not all his faults, but his trend is on a slow dip since the beginning of the season.
On the other hand, Carlos seems to have a healthier ups and down. It will be interesting to see how and if he will continue his climb this latter half of the season.
While the driver’s point between the 2 Ferrari drivers are on par (102 - 99), I am going to give this year to Carlos over LeClerc. He just seems more comfortable, and maybe less pressure than the other side of the garage.
