Happy 10th-race anniversary, Circuit of The Americas! From the first race you were born, it has been a thrilling sight to watch the drivers scramble to that first elevated corner in every single race!
For the last nine races here, the winner of this 5.5 km race track has been either from the pole [55.56%] or the guy beside him [44.44%]. This means qualifying for the front row will be critical.
The safety car has a 5/9 chance of appearing, and guess what, Latifi has not crashed out on this circuit yet! Could this be the [last] year he adds COTA to his belt??
In terms of successful drivers, Lewis, Max, Vettel, and Albon have the highest pts per race here. Keep in mind that Albon was only here once before, in 2019.
I thought it would be interesting to check out the consistent achievers through this season; drivers who have [somewhat] performed well from the beginning to now.
These are the drivers that, along with good strategy, pit crews, and a good amount of luck, were able to perform in light of the different factors and conditions in every race. I do want to highlight the two exceptional drivers, and that is Max and Russell. It’s only a matter of time before we see these two battle it out for the championship… we just have to wait for Mercedes to breach the budget cap… slightly.
