Apologies for the late report! Work’s been busy! But not busy enough to not watch F1!
Today there really isn’t any other news than a longing farewell to the soon-to-be-retired Mr.Vettel. What a great career, and like what the media are saying, no one can say anything bad about him. Great guy all in all. The circus will miss him.
With that said, look at that new wing Aston has gotten him this GP! Surely Vettel gives them wings! Here’s hoping they get to keep it, and it does not get quashed by lawyers!
Quick highlights of this GP:
I am going all in on Norris. Yes, he said he wouldn’t be able to fight for pole, but I think he’s just been careful. He’s on the rise, and I think he will continue to be the Hung
ary-Hungary-Hippo of points this race.Albon seems to stabilize his performance trend atm. Here’s hoping he does not dive any further.
Here’s a tricky question: If you had to choose between Yuki and Lance, who would you choose? Lance is stable, but Yuki is crossing streams downward atm. Yuki has more points in Hungary and a 2% less retirement rate. Stroll is unmoved in his trend and a seemingly safe (and uninteresting) pick. Would you risk the problem child? Or hope Stroll does a little bit better with that new rear wing?
