As it turns out, Danny’s triumphant return was a bit short-lived. Not because he got fired but because he couldn’t get his hand off the steering wheel quick enough as he drove the car into the barrier. His broken hand should be a reminder that every race matters if you want to convince Uncle Marko you want to stay.
That said, though, I think many of us are excited to see the replacement, Mr.Liam Lawson, in the hot seat. For some reason, Liam reminds me of Liam Neeson in that he is about to pull a Taken in F1. I believe he is prime to take someone's seat if any of the Alpha Tauri drivers continue to not perform (or break a bone or the car).
So who’s interesting to watch in the land of orange? Well, of course, the orange cars!
The McLaren boys have been on a comeback tour before the summer breaks, and signs are pointing they will continue to produce sold-out performances for this coming race. Oscar might be more volatile due to his newbie status, but when he does perform, his tune is accurate and sharp. I believe he will give Lando a run for his money come next season!
With that, I am looking forward to lights out and away into the banks we go! Go Zandvoort!!
