F1 Dutch GP 2022 Pre-Race Report
Ricciardo and Schumacher are nether here nor there in the Netherlands

It’s the Dutch GP, and we are bringing back a modified version of the social score [with a new social data site]. Some quick highlights:
Max has the highest social score for obvious reasons. A race win plus this upcoming Dutch GP makes him high on the talk-about list.
Gasly, compared to Ricciardo [and Schumacher], seems to be the driver everyone is talking about as to who may be taking the Alpine seat next year. The [social] media seems to like Gasly a lot more.
Albon is also the talk of Team William as he seems to shine brightly in that straight-line FW44.
On the bottom end, Alonso seems to be heading out of the limelight for this GP. Maybe all the talk of him moving to Aston is wearing thin with viewers… are we itching for the next drama?
Since the Dutch GP is pretty new for this generation of drivers, there is not too much historical data for them. A good question to ask right now is how have the summer break affected the drivers.
Looking at the trends, you can’t help but accept why Ferrari would drop Schumacher from their academy. Compared to the other sophomore and rookies (Yuki and Zhou), Mick just failed to impress or even stand out. His recent higher performance may show a breakthrough, but it may be too little too late for the F1 circus. With that said, Zhou may have an even shorter time to prove his worth if he is to keep any seat next year.
Max may be supreme, but I think Russell is his absolute equal. Their trend line is so similar, and that’s why I think the next greatest rivalry of the next generation will be between these two. Put them in a similar performance car, and I am sure it is going to be more exciting than the current LeClerc and Max fight.
